Counter Strike
Counter-Strike is consistently the most
widely-played online game there is, boasting, at any
one time, more players than Quake III, Unreal Tournament
and Tribes - combined! It is team-based, and set in
modern-day levels with a range of weapons straight from
real life - if your real life happens to be in a SWAT
team or international terrorist organisation that is.
Each of the inspired maps has its own set of objectives,
ranging from planting a bomb to protecting a VIP as
he makes his way to a helicopter. Die, and you're dead
for the rest of the round. Not as bad as it sounds,
as most rounds last about three to four minutes, but
enough to make you jumpy.

Half-Life DEMO
Half-Life combines the visceral action
of legendary action games like Doom with great storytelling
in the tradition of Stephen King. The game offers both
single player and multiplayer modes, over a dozen great
weapons, and the infamous Team Fortress Classic modification.
